In the book, “The Spirit of the Anti-Christ,” author Brian Warner outlines how the warnings in the Christian book of Revelation have been occurring all around us. Instead of an antichrist person, he outlines the spirit of the antichrist. This, he argues, is the flipping of the teachings of Jesus and feeding it back into the Christian church. Jesus clearly outlines what sends a person to hell in Matthew 25: not feeding the hungry, not giving drink to the thirsty, not inviting the stranger in, not assisting the sick and not visiting those in prison. We could summarize these teachings as an idea of empathy or compassion. Ironically, it is this very teaching that has been inverted and politicized. If the spirit of the antichrist is among us, is there also a spirit of the Beast?
Some of us have noticed a trend in abandoning compassion and empathy. Seen on both sides, there is a trending hatred of the “other.”
Recently, Elon Musk was interviewed and he demonstrated his distaste of empathy.
The fundamental weakness of Western civilization is empathy, the empathy exploit. – Elon Musk
Christian churches in America have aligned with a political regime of the right. I and others contend that they no longer observe the teachings of Jesus, and instead use the pastoral messages for confirmation bias. They want to hate the other, to restrict the stranger from entering, to restrict food and benefits for the poor. All this in the name of economy. Even if there is financial gain, every Christian (and spiritual person) must remember these core points:
- What does it profit a man, if he gains the whole world at the cost of his soul? (Mark 8:34-38)
- The Kingdom of God is not of this world. (John 18:36)
- It’s challenging for the wealthy to enter heaven. (Luke 18:25)
- Those who are blessed are the poor, the meek, the humble (Matthew 5)
- Failing to help the “other” is as though not helping God (Matthew 25)
The True Christian Path
With these core teachings from Jesus, we have an outline for True Christian behavior. Our point of existence is not to “enrich ourselves” but to live moral and spiritual lives. Perhaps you wonder, why… why not live for this world?
If you’re willing to listen, I’ll tell you the general idea: the world we experience is an illusion. It is a testing ground of our faith. We can either live by the hard appearance of the world, caring for ourselves or our nation, or we can live sacrificially in the Faith of God. What determines our course of action is our view of the world. If this world is “all there is,” then one will not live sacrificially. If we believe that this world is a proving ground of our spiritual path, than our actions are pivotal. In the latter example, suffering poverty while being obedient to the core principals, is preferable to eternal punishment.
The Satanic Message
In the Christian Bible, the role of the Satanic Trinity (the antichrist, the beast and the false prophet) is similar to that of the Eastern idea of Maya. Maya is the force that pulls us into the world and away from the spiritual path. In the West, the so-called Satanic Trinity is the inversion of Christianity and attempts the same thing.
Any person, ideology or force that tells us to not love everyone, but only those who “deserve it,” to not help everyone but only those who are identified as deserving help, such is the antithesis of Jesus.
The founder of the Satanic Church, wrote 9 Satanic Statements. In large part, these 9 points invert the teachings of Jesus. Instead of loving everyone, loving only those who deserve it. Instead of turning the other cheek, strike with vengeance. Does that sound familiar?
That message is the message of our political leaders today in America. They are upset that money goes to those needing aid. They are angry at the “wasteful spending,” going to help the needy. I don’t blame politicians for using this tool as it’s a powerful force of control. What is more concerning is the church.
Walking into a Christian Church in America today is like stepping into a political rally. More often than reaching into the words of Jesus, they cherry pick passages from the Bible to claim a path of anger, hostility, war, and even selfishness. By echoing the political party using the Satanic Method, they become the pawns of the Satanic Method themselves.
The Satanic Method
The fall of the Christian church was a trick of madness. Roe vs. Wade in America set off a firestorm of discontent. Good meaning people entered into generational political warfare against what they perceived as a path of killing children.
At the same time, we have the political pundits openly despising empathy and compassion. While Elon Musk has some level of compassion for humanity, his designs of humanity are one without the compassion for each other. A humanity that desires and grows without restriction, that treads upon the skulls of others, is not a humanity that will succeed spiritually. This is the path of spiritual death.
Politicians care about power, which means votes. They align with Christians who want to stop abortion, and this leads to a corruption of the church. The church gets something they believe will stop killing of innocents, yet at the same time it comes with the baggage of politics.
This direction led to the placement of a political idol in every church. It preaches a message of political design, claiming it to be the path of Jesus. A path of “pro-life.” Instead of the general pro life sentiment in the teachings of Jesus (caring for the sick, helping the poor, inviting the stranger in), it becomes a very narrow view of the life of an unborn human child. Regarding helping other life, the Christian aligns with their political master and disdains the poor, the sick, the stranger.
Consider this political parties actions against the teachings of Jesus:
The above specific points are part of a general resentment for those who are poor. Then there’s the job losses. Conservatives in droves are cheering the firing of Federal Employees, the gutting of help and support for Veterans Affairs and deportation of undocumented immigrants. While Christians align with cherry picked passages from Paul, the teachings of Jesus in Matthew 25 clearly tell us what will send many to hell.
As the Church gets the anti-abortion path of politicians, this also brings the baggage of other political directions in opposition to Jesus. Pastors align in full with the political party and this creates the corruption: the church becomes the political party.
This has led to a general anti-life sentiment of the church. Caring for the sick, helping the homeless, programs to care for children born to single mothers, all of these are often disparaged in favor of a “me first” attitude. The very “pro-life” sentiment quickly becomes anti-life and anti Jesus.
The Beast has been revealed. The spirit of the Antichrist and the False Prophet have been discovered. They are the symbols of our current age.
The solution is to identify the false, and align personally with the truth. This doesn’t mean you would vote a certain way, or protest an administrations decisions. That would be more work for a world that will soon perish. The work is inward, personal and one of spirit.
I’m not seeking a change of administration, I’m hoping that people will realize their choices and how they have walked off the path, all with good intentions, but in the end they’ve chosen the Satanic actions over their Christian ideals. Our world will soon perish… that is, our life spans are short. What’s done here sticks. Do we want to become spiritual failures, or become triumphant? It may mean becoming less, becoming poor, or loosing power in the world… but this is the path of sacrifice.
